About Us

Jericho Christian Television is under the able leadership of Bro. Charles Gunter, the founder and director. Chuck, as our director likes to be called, is a licensed Southern Baptist Pastor. He holds a degree from the Community College of the Air Force and is listed in the 2003-2004 National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. He hold a General Radiotelephone License issued by the Federal Communications Commission and is a licensed Amateur Radio Operator. Since his retirement from the United States Air Force in 1989, Chuck has served in the mission field supporting several diverse Christian ministries in Western Africa, Middle America and the United States. He is the founder and former director of Youth in Action for Liberia having been instrumental in the organization's formation during his 1994 visit to Liberia aboard the Missionary Ship, M/V Spirit. Chuck has spent four years in Guatemala working with indigious ministries and one year working with the Southern Baptist International Mission Missionaries, Dr. Roger and Vicki Grossmann performing media related tasks. Chuck was instrumential in establishing several religious cable television programs on Guatemalan cable systems. His leadership and talents has made Jericho Christian Television a leader in Christian Internet Video and Audio Streaming.

Our Chaplain is Bro. William Edwards. He is currently the pastor of Center Point Baptist Church located in West Monroe, Louisiana. June Gulett serves as our office manager and financial adviser. Her son, Jeffrey Gulett, assists with productions in our studio when necessary. Jeff has traveled On-Mission with the director to Guatemala on several different productions. Transportation coordination is the responsibility of Levi Ellard. Levi is a member of Center Point Baptist Church.

Two of the director's adopted sons serve in the ministry. Bro. Hector P. Gunter from Guatemala serves as the administrative assistant to our director and provides translation when our staff is traveling in Middle America. Bro. Emmanuel J. Gunter is an evangelist from the Ressurrection Church of Jesus Christ which is headquartered in Monrovia, Liberia. Bro. Emmanuel's primary work is with the orphans and child soldiers left as a legacy of the Liberian Civil War. He himself was orphaned as a result of that conflict that started in 1989 and left hundreds of thousands dead and wounded.

Financially, Jericho Christian Television is supported by the donations and offering of the ministries that we support. Private donations are welcome.
